1. About this policy

This privacy policy explains how iPsychology ("we", "us") collects and uses information when you visit ipsychology.net (the "site"). iPsychology is a free educational website. We do not offer accounts, comments or paid services, so most information is collected automatically when you browse, mainly by our analytics and advertising providers. This policy should be read together with our cookie policy.

2. Information we collect

When you visit the site, our analytics and advertising providers and our hosting provider may collect technical information such as:

your IP address (which can indicate approximate location);

the pages you visit, the page that referred you and the date and time of your visit;

cookie identifiers and similar online identifiers.

Information you give us

If you email us, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and the contents of your message. We use this only to respond and, where relevant, to make corrections to the site.

We do not ask for sensitive information about your health. Please do not send us personal health details; we cannot give personal advice.

3. Google Analytics 4

We use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google, to understand how visitors use the site so that we can improve our content. Our Google Analytics measurement ID is G-TM377K4SQF. 4. Advertising by Mediavine

The site is free to read because it shows display advertising. Our advertising is managed by Mediavine, which works with third-party advertising partners. Mediavine and its partners use cookies and similar technologies (such as pixels, local storage and device identifiers) to serve ads, to personalize ads based on your interests and browsing on this and other websites, to limit how often you see the same ad, to measure ad performance and to detect fraud.

The site search runs from a file on our own site and does not send your searches to a third party.

9. Your rights (California and other US states)

We do not sell personal information for money, but the use of advertising cookies by our partners may count as "selling" or "sharing" under some state laws. 10. Children's privacy

The site is an educational resource that may be read by students, but it is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 where local law sets a higher age). If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
